About me
My name is Julian Roberts and I'm the owner of Charon.co.uk. I've built this site up over the last few years. It contains a variety of demos, downloads, Dreamweaver Extensions and articles. When I was learning, I found resource sites very useful. I hope that many other will find this site useful. Most of the content on my site is free. However, some of the Extensions that I've built I've had make them commercial. This to reflect the amount of time and effort that I've put into creating the extensions. And also, this guarantees that you'll get support from me. I've been a freelance web developer since Feb '00. Prior to that, I'd spent most of my working life in the pub trade. I'd also worked as a security guard in a local factory. Luckily, I was able to my laptop into work. It was there that I used to spend my 12 hour shifts learning about web development! Jojo, from the DW newsgroup, did the design for this site. I just put it all together in Dreamweaver MX. I don't really have much time for hobbies or pastimes. When I do get some spare time, I enjoy playing scrabble, doing crosswords and playing golf. At one time, I got down to a single-figure handicap at golf. But, I'd struggle to maintain that now! Irreverent fact - I'm the author of over 15,000 posts on the Macromedia newsgroups. |
